This song is like an audio version of a crackly old film reel. It has this swing music feel but in slow motion, with a shoebop tone in the vocals. It's rare to find a modern song with such soul-heavy piano parts, and the harmonizing background vocals sound like an oldschool chorus, which makes the combo of the two show a lot of heart.
